Home-made mayonnaise

I always prepare mayonnaise at home. I prefer it than the mayonnaise from the supermarket although it has a lot of oil, but it tastes much better and anyway, I don't eat it every day :-)



For the mayonnaise you need:
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tea spoon mustard (if you want you can use 2 tea spoons of lemon or vinegar )
  • salt
  • 100ml rapeseed oil (it depends how hard you want the mayonnaise)

Put the ingredients in the following order into the mixing bowl: eggmustard, pinch of salt (to taste) and the oil. Put the mixer to the bottom of the container. Start to mix at maximum speed and slowly move up the mixer until it thickens. If you want more consistency add more oil.

You can enjoy this mayonnaise with all kinds of fried food.
